satisfactory stay with minor issues

infinity pool ample loungers fresh fruit juice variety arabian style opulent lobby slow service inconsistent service maintenance need tattered look old facilities
the infinity pool had plenty of loungers. staff set up towels and iced water for me (a very nice touch, especially with the sun). the breakfast buffet included fresh fruit and juices. the lobby had arabian style.
i experienced slow service at times. inconsistent service was also an issue i noticed.

bad food quality annoyed waiter
the room was large enough and faced the ocean.
the FOOD quality was shockingly bad. i ordered room service and the waiter seemed annoyed. it did not match the menu description and i questioned whether i received the correct item.

The private beach access was a PLUS.
The food quality was TERRIBLE at all dining options. The room service attendant even tried to convince me to order something different because he did not want to walk far. He eventually brought what I ordered, but it did not match the menu description AT ALL.

bad food disappointing breakfast
My time was mostly fine, but the food really missed the mark. i was surprised at how bad the food was. it wasn't just one meal. Restaurants, room service, even breakfast left me disappointed. i expected so much more, especially given what i paid.

a magical escape

polite staff immaculate grounds delicious scones
the staff were so polite and helpful. everyone greeted you when you walk by. the grounds are kept so well, the hotel looks very new still. i enjoyed afternoon tea so much, the scones were divine.
the buffet at the family resort is a 10 min walk from the adults only section. you can get a buggy but i would like the option of something closer.
